Ganesh Sthapna Shubh Muhurat 2024
On the day of Ganesh Chaturthi, the idol of Lord Ganesha is installed in homes and large puja pandals. On this day, people install Ganpati in their homes only during the auspicious time. Chaturthi Tithi will start on 7 September 2024 at 11:03 am and will last till 1:34 pm.

While bringing Ganpati Bappa or Lord Vinayak to the house, you should take care of Rahukaal. Lord Ganesha should not be brought to the house during Rahukaal. Bringing Lord Ganesha to the house during Rahukaal can be inauspicious for you.
It is important to keep some things in mind before establishing Ganpati. After taking a bath, wear clean clothes and then apply tilak on the forehead and sit on the seat facing east. Your currency should be pure. After this, install the idol of Lord Ganesha by spreading a red cloth on a wooden plank or wheat, moong, or jawar. Also, establish Riddhi-Siddhi on the right and left side of the idol of Ganapati and keep one betel nut each.

Keeping in mind the auspicious time of Ganesh Chaturthi Tithi, first of all, keep the idol of Lord Ganesha in the north, east, or north-east part of your house. Take the worship material of Lord Ganesha and sit on a pure seat. Place the Kalash in the east direction of the idol of Lord Ganesha and light a lamp in the southeast corner. Chant the mantra Om Pundarikakshay Namah “ॐ पुण्डरीकाक्षय नमः ” while sprinkling water on yourself. Salute Lord Ganesha to do Aachman three times and apply Tilak on the forehead. After offering the asana or seat, bathe Lord Ganesha with Panchamrit. Offer them clothes, sacred thread, sandalwood, Akshat, incense, Diya, Naivedya, and fruits. Perform Aarti of Lord Ganapati and seek blessings for fulfillment of wishes.
